I have the pink Mini. It is perfect and wonderful in every way. I have only half of the capacity filled and I've had it for three months or so. It is so tiny and darling...more than enough :D and the mini's are a lot "cooler".

If you just want more playtime/battery life then the new Sony thingies are technically better but for fashion, the Mini is where it's at.

I know! I love pink and the iPod's design but I also love the limited edition aspect of the U2 one. That and more space. Right now, my 20GB's filled to 13.44GB as I keep all my Sex and the City and Six Feet Under's episodes in them. But as for music, I have 682 songs and I have not managed to listen to all of them yet. Lol.

*g* I hate the iPod's limited battery life but I love it's design and fashion statemnent too much to consider something else. :p

actually to be honest, why have mp3 players at all. the ipods only work with the apple music site anyway. or cds that you upload. not music you dl illegally. might as well just listen to a hp radio. like no point leh.

I'd go for the U2. It is a) ubercool and b) has more space and c) is unique!

I've never seen the point of mini iPods... I go for space, man.
