The DLC is a fucking joke. They've been doing their damnedest to shift the Democratic party to the right ever since their inception. Of course they ignore Edwards; he is both the most populist and the most liberal candidate of anyone with a chance at being elected.

P.S. Democratic Leadership Council =/= Democratic Party, just the representatives of its wealthiest and most corporate wing.

*snort* We've had what? Iowa, Wyoming, and New Hampshire? Please. These people are stupid to think that Super Tuesday is all locked up at this point, not mention just plain offensive for assuming that the best that Edwards can offer is "optimism." -__-

Coming from National Headquarters of said "unimportant" campaign as designated by the DLC, there has only been TWO STATES. Obama: right wing candidate=awesome?????? Why support the liberal candidate who has the best electability among ALL Republicans?

That said, they're probably right since we've gotten anti-media coverage and anti-help and basically been told to sit down and shut up since he started running and everyone, including me are updating resumes

The reason I didn't register as a Democrat (and still haven't) is exactly this. They (or if not them, then prominent people within the party) hang perfectly good candidates out to dry. And they're particularly insane if they think that "Super Tuesday" (as Omair calls it) is theirs for the taking, especially if they think they'll be running Clinton or Obama...especially Clinton. The reason why I don't want her to run isn't so much about her politics as it is that the Republicans are going to do their best to make sure she can't do anything if she wins.

I like Edwards. I don't agree with him on everything, but he certainly represents my views more than Clinton or Obama. I don't understand why the party has been so eager to screw him over like this.
