Merry Christmas, Happy ... Whatever. I work New Years, so screw it.

I'm bored, I feel like writing ... something (shhh about certain posts in a certain RPG, cause ... I swear I'm working on it, really! Ask Mal. We set a date for tomorrow. We did!), so it being christmas and all, I thought it would be nice to share my uninteresting tale about my 4th attempt at ear piercings ( Read more... )

Aw, thankies mum!

Aody's been telling me horrible stories about blood lumps and puss rivers, and he says that *everyone* goes through them with their piercings. Hubby is so encouraging.:-p

But they're healed! And, like, I have two fabulous piercings! AND AND It was encouraging! IT's like saying "If you get lumps don't worry cause they'll pop and there will be a mountain of blood and puss and it will stream down your ear and leak all over and you'll use up two rolls of toilet paper trying to soak it up while you have an annoying twat telling you they hit a vein and you should take it out, but of course you opted for the sleeper which you can only get removed at a piercers so that's, like, not an option so you tell him to fuck off and that you really want to headbutt him, or at least smeare some puss on his face but you don't 'cause you're polite and after all that you will still have an earrring" See? Encouraging.

*lmao*

Fabulous, eh? You must take pictures of these fab piercings. *nods*

Maybe if you had headbutted (is that a word?) him, your eyebrow stud would have cut open his face. :D

And once again .... thanks ... for the encouragement ...

Hee. This is the most amusing RL anecdote I have heard in quite a while. :-p I got my ears pierced when I was a wee baby, and thank God I did because needles are not navigating their way close enough to me to make through-and-through holes in parts of my body nowadays, thankyouverymuch. Good luck with the new set of piercings. Earrings can be of the good (says the girl who sometimes goes months without them *g*).

Really? Depends where you get it done, I suppose. But, like, I got my eyebrow done and it didn't hurt at all (top of ear, other story! PAIN!) so it's not that bad. Does be over before you really notice in some places.

Well, I have a special aversion toward needles. I pretty much hover close to unconsciousness after my blood is taken. So you know, I probably wouldn't do it if it had to be done for the first time now. The fact that I'm not a big accessory girl probably contributes to that as well.

Ahh I see. I guess I don't get the needle phobia, but I can't really talk. Lot's of people aren't scared of spiders, I'm sure. ;)

Hee, that was entertaining. =)

If this one doesn't work, you can always go to my brother's tattoo/piercing shop. He'll be sure to take good care of you. ;)

I got my ears pierced when I was 6, and all of a sudden they recently started half closing up all the time. I just have someone shove the earring through my ear everytime I want to wear any. :$

*bows*

*LOL* Nice of you to offer, but I'm *really* hoping this will be my very last attempt. REALLY REALLY hoping. Cause I think there has to be a point where I'll have to accept that maybe, just Maybe, my ears REALLY don't want to have holes in them. Or, I'm wolvie-like with inhuman healing powers. I'm prepared to believe both.

OUCH! Does it hurt when you do that? Maybe you should keep some earrings in there for a few months so you don't have to go through that? What does your bro say?

Don't take them out for 6 hours this time :P My suggestion is to wait until you've had them pierced for a year or so before you take them out for an extended period of time. Although, some women really can't take them out for longer than a half an hour though, or they'll close.

I have 4 holes in my ears :P Listen to me :D

*lol* Not my fault those old time ear studs had sharp pointy backings and I couldn't wait to take the suckers out when the time came. Two of the three attempts didn't work just because the ppl who gave me the "waiting" advice didn't know what the hell they were talking about.

Based on what these pros say, I'll have earrings in my ears at all times for about 11 months, so that's near enough a year. ;)
