Okay, great to see an update that I wasn't expecting. Interesting how even people who don't know them see them very much as equals even though Oliver is the one with the money. Lionel's comment about Chloe having a blind spot where Oliver is concerned seemed more ominous to me than his threats. Does he mean how Oliver used to be back in the day? And hints of Clark, I almost thought that last sentence would be something about Clark watching and listening to them from a distance.

I think, after a few years, people have begun to think as them as a singular. What's Oliver's is Chloe's and vice-versa. To most of the world, these two are together rather just friends, it's how the gossip pages have portrayed them and even though they fight it, nothing changes. What I wanted to convery most, though, is that Oliver sees them as equals, never questioning why people in general would lump them together, considering them equal to each other.

To Lionel, Oliver still retains some of his bullish ways from prep school, and he was by no means a nice guy, especially to Lex. It's been fun to tie it all into canon; it provides a good excuse to look up old episodes and really do some research into what was going on. I only returned to Smallville during season 6 because of JH as OQ, I'd given up on it for a few years there, so the plotlines of season 6 were pretty muddled in my head, haha. But I've got it all planned out and I've worked through each episode to get an idea of what it'll be like with this different mindset in place and these friendships that make things more difficult in some areas and easier in others.

It's been great and I'm really happy you and everyone is still following this story!
