Looks like my package got stolen right from in front of my door.

I'm so sad.

:(  Goodbye, $100 worth of stuff... I bought two pairs of shoes and planned to return one, so this is a big ouch for me.

How do you know it was actually delivered?
And can you file a claim with either the shipping service or the product company?

UPS says I have to first talk to the shipper (Anthropologie), so I'll do that tomorrow morning. UPS says they were delivered (2 packages) but will start an investigation after Anthro gives them the go-ahead. I have a feeling they were delivered because the maintenance guy, who lives down the hall, said he is pretty sure he saw them sitting in front of our door. They were delivered Wednesday, but we didn't get home until Sunday night.

Yuck. Shouldn't UPS have left them with your leasing office?

Yes - that's what they're supposed to do. They may have been delivered after the office closed for the holidays on Wednesday, though. I did email the office on Thursday to ask them to grab the packages if they were in front of my door, but no one ever emailed me back, and apparently no one was in the office until today. I checked through the packages there, and none of them are mine.

I know this is totally minor, but right now it is REALLY upsetting me. It's not even the money, it's that someone would up and steal packages from me.

Usually, the company shipping the items will cover the losses; I've had this happen a couple times.

Companies' insurance policies cover a certain amount of loss, and some of
It is built into the cost of the merchandise. Just like when you worked at VS, they are able to damage out merchandise for a number of reasons.

Don't feel bad! Contact anthro, they need to dispute it with UPS or take care of resending.

Yeah - Ben said we could also file a dispute with the credit card company, and they would refund the money, since we have purchase protection.

I'll never see those shoes again, though - got 'em on sale and was SO excited to get them, but they are totally sold out now :( I'm hoping Anthro will possibly help me locate a pair, but I'm not optimistic.
