A post for a girl in a place.
So it’s this wench’s birthday, and I decided to do some stuff, since I couldn’t do some other stuff. Sticking to your guns, and all that.
Amy, we’ve been friends for way too long. So long, it regularly takes a minute when either us has to fill in that blank in ‘___ years’. And as tempting as it must’ve been to reconsider on far too many occasions, you’ve always been a good friend to me, through the personal to the game related.
You care probably more than you should, and you’re a better person than you should probably be, in spite of the ever rising pile of horseshit that makes up that looming shadow over your head. I’m proud of you for not losing that, in spite of all the insensitive asses you keep running into. Me included.
I hope today went well, I hope you and I remain friends even if we both wind up walking away from the wacky fun filled land of LJ someday. And most of all, I hope that one day you figure out how to ship me as many of those baked goods you keep taunting me with as possible.
