Heh, can you imagine giving either of those as an address on an official form? I know somewhere there is a street name 'Back Passage' but I can't remember where.

"Lickey End" and "Bell End" are in Worcs with the fantastically name "Wetwang" in Yorkshire...

I always liked "Cockfield" - man - Giger must have lived there.

Bushybottom, Black Bush (cambs), Muck, Six Mile Bottom (cambs), my fav - Ugley - complete with "The Ugley Womens Institute", Pratts Bottom, Faggot, Lickshead (staff.), Crapham, Snatch Ho and Snatch Wood, Knacker's Hole, Balls, Windy Nook and Windy Gap, Breast Haw, Fiddler Ho, Tithill... that's enough....

There are lots of places in Dorset called puddle or piddle that made the kids giggle when we were there!
I wouldn't have a clue..country place names are so funny!

There's a Wyre Piddle in Gloucestershire or Worcestershire or somewhere. I think the improbably named Piddletrenthide is in Dorset, isn't it?

One of my favourites is just outside Northampton. Irthlingborough.

It's the 1950s, picture the martians landing, a door in the saucer opens, the giant robot steps out and says "Take me to your leader Irthlingbououghling".

Yes I know it's silly. It just appealed to me.
