Paradise, thy name is Waiheke Island. I would like to make it clear that I have only condescended to enter an Internet Cafe (and one that smells like teenage boys and plays Metallica, at that) because Ed and I both needed to check e-mail before we go home and this might be our last chance. Waiheke Island
My Aunt lives on Waiheke Island. It’s a lovely place isn't it? I do enjoy going to visit her there. And yes you are correct about Auckland being pants. It's not one of my favourite places. And best you missed Rotorua. I grew up there, and while I thought it was a great place, when I left I realised how utter shite it really is.

Glad you're having a good time.

I've never been to NZ, but the general consensus I've heard is that Auckland *is* crap. Waiheke Island sounds lovely though, and I'll make sure I include it when we eventually go.

Oh yes, do. It's beautiful, and there's plenty to do, although we mostly stuck to the beach.

It's a beautiful place! Your aunt is very lucky, where does she live?

Sort of relieved to hear that about Auckland from a sort-of local. I would have liked to have seen Rotarua, but maybe next time.

It will be lovely to have you back (selfish though that is). I hope you have plenty of drugs for the return journey.
