The power has been restored to our neighbourhood and we are once again in our own home. Whew! Unfortunately, there are still thousands of families still without heat or power of any kind, and the shelters will remain open at least until Thursday ( Read more... ) -
ice-storm
Due to the ice storm covering the NE, our power went out soon after midnight last night. We had layed in stocks of water but we are not hooked up to the town water or sewage systems. With no electricity, the well pump does not work and the propane gas heating system does not function. Getting a generator is now high on our priorities’ list! Gee, it ( Read more... ) -
