The police are outside the building with dogs. They're searching for a man. He's angry and "looking for a woman." I'm assuming this is a specific woman, but no one knows for certain. He's already been in the building once pounding on doors.

It is a tiny bit scary. I was handed a copy of his rap sheet. This guy is a fugitive and he's not anything like nice. I hope they catch him soon. All in all, though, he's probably not a lot worse than some of my more "socially challenged" clients.

I hope they have him, too. I know at least one of my co-workers was wigged out because they have her entire block cordoned off. I don't like the idea of this violent offender wandering around the neighborhood.

Ahh, the joys of another day in social services....
