Why have I not seen the term "Macintel" bandied about? Surely one of those clever digerati has thought of it!

You blinked. The term appeared on several websites/forums the day that Jobs announced the migration to Intel processors. I thought it was better than the other hybrid names being proposed... but Macintel didn't catch on for some reason.
