I haven't been here in so long, I was taking a trip down memory lane and ended up here. Oh, god. I was such a DORK.

Maybe I should get back into doing that series. I keep thinking about it, but maybe I should just do it. If focusing on their touching ~technique~ made it possible to rewatch Route 666, then I think the power of manlove could get me ( Read more... )

Hi!

Hee. If you did that, I would read it with GLEE, no lie. I never looked at the series the same way after your particular perspective on touching.

Hi! :)

I feel like I have nothing new to add since everything has been covered to death, I'm sure, but still, I'm in the mood so I figure, why not? I really hate leaving it undone, since once upon a time, it was the SPN project I was most passionate about.

I absorbed your manlove posts like a sponge, back in the day. I would love to read your thoughts again.

Thank you! I really loved writing those metas; I'm so glad people enjoyed reading them. I rewatched ELAC tonight, with notebook handy. That's where I left off years ago. Might as well jump back in...

I still cannot stand the The Benders. Watching once was enough. I still love the show. You can tell the writing is different now.

The Benders, ugh. I swear, it remains one of my least favorite episodes despite the strong nostalgia for S1. What a disappointing episode. :/

I don't think I will ever not love/hate the show. The writing is definitely different now, and I'm not sure of their ability to sustain long-term storylines like they were able to in Kripke's day. I wish Jeremy Carver and Raelle Tucker would come back. Actually, despite The Benders, I wish John Shiban would come back. He occasionally veered into the anvil territory, but still, he had a knack for family dynamics.
