Q's for Sari: (I'm not original enough to be mean, as I said. XD I think these are all okay--at least I didn't ask which one of your kids you like better. *lmao*)
1. Since we're on the subject of Machi, could expand more on your thoughts of her?
Ahahhaha, you want me to Machi fangirl? hee hee...sure why not? Okay, I really and truely do love all the characters of Furuba because of Takaya's characterization...as someone who is trying to learn to write, I have learned a lot from the little details she puts into things. No matter what people say, I don't think she's a 'Tohru' replacement...she's mellow (unless provoked)...shows little emotion...is perceptive and has low self esteem and hates perfection. Unlike the rest of the world, she noticed Yuki isn't perfect and also realized he probably didn't see himself that way either. Sure...she's got a lot of similarities to Tohru as well, but they really are nothing alike...they mostly have compliments. The pessimist vs. optimist...but trying to find their place in life when they are 'alone'. It's fun to see how Yuki and her have begun to open up over the series...both have begun to make those changes together. Learning to smile...learning to live...learning to move on. It's quite cute.
2. What would you have done if Furuba had ended up being (god forbid) a Yukiru? How do you think the story would have changed?

Let me start by saying I never DISLIKED Yuki...I just never liked him going after Tohru. I don't know if it was just because I liked Kyou so much or if it was more I felt he was 'forcing' the entire 'relationship' thing...he seemed almost pushy and desperate at times ^^; where Kyou and Tohru just kind of 'happened'. I don't think I would have kept reading if it had turned out that way. Maybe I would have...but...I just kinda skimmed through the Yukiru parts when I first read them and everytime I reread it...I just don't care. I adore Yuki's character and think the changes he's made are amazing...but 'curse' wise...if he had continued to pursue her...he would have 'stolen' her from Kyou. Since the Rat always wins.
I don't think Kyou could have emotionally recovered from that blow...even though he really never 'pursued' her.

3. What was your biggest regret when you were my age? What do you wish you would've done but didn't?
Uh...wow...um...regret...never dated that stalker boyfriend ^^; Honestly, I don't know...
I would have gone out and done more with my friends...I was so competitive in sports that looking back, I missed a lot of things with them. We'll get together and they'll talk about something like I was there and I will be all..."Um...I don't remember that."
"OH! I think you were at a tournement that weekend!" Makes me feel like I missed out.
4. Vanilla or Chocolate? (And WHY.)
Depends on what it is...and what I am in the mood for. I prefer Choc shakes...but Vanilla IceCream. Vanilla Oreo's...Choc Pudding...Choc cake...I guess usually Chocolate since I crave it more.
5. Besides Kyouru interaction, who do you think Kyou is best seen with?
ZOMG SO EASY. I ADORE KAZUMA/KYOU!!! I think I remember being STUNNED the first time Kyou smiled for Kazuma at Shigure's. I couldn't believe he could smile like that! Their bond is one of the most amazing things...and it makes me see exactly what might happen when Kyou finally lets down his guard and be around Tohru because everyone makes fun of Kyou/Kazuma and how much they both just FAWN over each other. Add Tohru to the mix and it will be so cute! (fangirling again) Just that they now are not afraid to be that open with each other, constantly talking about each other like they are the luckiest person alive...sure they get made fun of...but it's taken them years to get there.
