     Oh dear, I'm desperate! Every time Vanessa (my BaCC founder) gets in the carpool she returns on the lot after 5 seconds and a Bad Gosub error appears. This also happens when I try to get her to walk to work. It's okay only after I send her and she's already late. But that is not a solution  because she'll get fired and gahh I need her to go to

Hmm, if removing the Job Stopinator doesn't work. You might want to use TestingCheats to delete Vanessa, then exit to the neighborhood and back into the lot. She will reappear by the mailbox. That has helped when my sims couldn't go to work properly.

Oh, I've done that already, but after deleting her, she goes back to her initial state (like 29 days away from adulthood, unemployed etc.) I'm sending her to work right now to see if what others suggested does the trick.

If you're using job stoppinator, cyjon has another mod you need to download to make it work. I had the exact same problem. meetme2theriver helped me :).
