Eric just called me, all shaken up. He saved someone's life about twenty minutes ago. One of the truck drivers collapsed in the warehouse, not breathing, no pulse. Eric did CPR for two minutes and the guy started blinking and coughing, just in time for the paramedics to arrive. Today is Eric's day off, he shouldn't have even been there ( Read more... )

Holy crap! Go Eric!

I'm always nervous that I'll actually have to perform CPR and I'll forget how to do it. They make it seem SO complicated in the class. "Push down right here 135 times, breathe every 5 pumps, don't break the person's ribs, check their airway, dance in a circle."

I have the same feeling as you about my weekend! I'd like ten more also. I hope you're not in too much trouble for coming home so late. :) I'm glad you had a good time, you deserve that so badly.
