Emma's poem

Emma had to write a poem for Science and this is what she wrote. I was just struck by her word choices and the maturity of the concepts. What a cool kid!

I Come From

I come from a family that loves mythology.
I come from a place where animal lovers are welcomed.
I come from parents that love me very much.
I come from a house in the wilder parts of New Hampshire.
I come from an almost normal family.
I come from New Hampshire, as most people know.
I come from an awesome place, where my eyes were born purple.
I come from a dream that threatens to lift me away.
I come from a place where I can see through time.
I come from another world. The world of my imagination.
I come from a great family, a family that is nice.
I come from a future and past, I see my career ahead.
I come from a thought to keep going no matter what lays ahead.
I come from a abnormal world, where anything you imagine can come true.
I come from a dream that pushes me to do great things.
I come from paleontology, to find ancient fossils never before seen.
I come from game art designing, to do concept art.
I come from a great life, for I want to do as much as I can.

I know some things can't be rushed. That includes life.
