On Sunday, me, two coworkers and their significant others rented a car to explore some other parts of O'ahu.

Wow! Those are amazing pictures Sarie!!

It brought back memories of when I went to Hawaii. I did the Pearl Harbor thing too and I LOVED the pineapple ice cream at the Dole plantation. Thank you for sharing!

Sarie!
My God girl, you took beautiful pictures! What lens were you using the for closeups? Because they turned out spectacular. I'm glad you had a wonderful time there...even if I wasn't packed in your luggage when you left!

(That's OK, I've gotten over it!)

I use a standard 18-55 mm lens, with a set of close up lenses on the front, usually all 3 at a time (+1, +2 and +4). I don't own a macro lens (someday), which is why my depth of field is so shallow on most of them.

Sarie!! Simply breath taking, dear one! I have another friend who is going to Hawaii this week and I'm really having to struggle with the jealousy issue that began when you went.

I WANT TO GO BACK!!!! *sigh*

It was such a beautiful experience and you have captured it amazingly. I remember well the pineapple soft serve. I think I used up every baby wipe I had with me cleaning up both myself and my sticky little 18mo companion. But it was soooo worth it!
