I was honestly so disgusted with the first chapter, that I pretended to be a middle schooler as I read the rest of the book, and suddenly, I LOVED it. Who needs depth when you have *~*~*DAZZLES*~*~*? ;D

OH GOD THEY SPARKLE. No, seriously, I almost died laughing at the sparkly vampires... just... yeeeeah. D: But I can kind of see how if you put yourself in a 15 year old frame of mind the whole thing might be OMG OMG OMG EDWARD IS SO DAZZLING AND DREAMY OOOOH *o* ... kind of. If... if I squint real hard. XD

I'm not even going near the books- my 16-year old sister reads them and she's actually angry over how the main vampire is portrayed in the movie XD Just the summaries I'm hearing/reading are so lame-sounding. I'm not big on books in general, but yeah...

LOL, I can't believe you're still listening to Twilight. After I read the first one, I thought it was stupid, but I totally understood why it was appealing to so many people. After half of the second one, I wanted to shoot myself/Stephenie Meyer/her editors/the publishers/people who kept buying the books in the face. Ughhhhh just thinking about it makes me feel like my IQ dropped 10 points.

YESSSSS exactly. I honestly can't explain why I'm still listening to them- it could just be because I don't have any other books on tape at the moment. I'm going to tell myself that anyway. D:

I hear you, they make me feel insanely violent towards Stephanie Meyer and her publishers/editors. It just doesn't make sense- or maybe they just really are that bad.

My sister just bought Twilight. I am sort of ashamed that she spent good money on that. :( At least she has the wit to realize that they're not very good books. I plan to go see the movie with a flask of rum because it looks hilarious, though.
