I am guessing you wanted it to link to google.
The HTML code is a href, inside <>.
AKA < a href > w/out the extra spaces. Then again you might have been testing something else entirly, in which case ignore this.

Was testing linking, since not only did the embedded YouTube player not want to display in LJ, the permalink to the vid didn't want to either.
