Deathnote ending spoilers ahead (yes, even to Yuka this will be a spoiler without having read 108).
Um.. so.
I was satisfied with the ending, since I thought Near would win, I knew that Raito's pride would end up doing him in...Though I was really disappointed by his going insane, since he'd been cold and calculating the entire series and the 180 degree character change was unbecoming. Ryuk also creeped me out quite a bit there.
I ended up liking Near so much more than L... and looking at L after seeing Near, he seemed WAY older. o_O;
QUESTION. In the second to last page, the woman saying 'kira-sama' and bearing the candle at the head of the procession, is that Misa? The depiction of her didn't look familiar, but thinking about it that was the only logical conclusion. However, since at that point she had no memories of the note, and she always called Raito by his name, that didn't make sense.....
Maybe she was just a woman to demonstrate that the belief in Kira's ideals isn't dead.
Anyhow, MUCH LOVE FOR THE DEATHNOTE.
Also, anyone know who this is? I don't recognize the char at all...I figured it could be Mello, but no facial scar and the hair I'd think would be blonde/white: A more human version of Stitches!
