I feel like I'm alone in a row boat, in the middle of a fierce storm on the ocean, in some really rough seas. I feel like braking up on some rocks is about as likely as taking on water and sinking, or flipping over and getting knocked out by the boat. did a cylinder balance test in the driveway tonight. turns out, injector #7 isn't doing anything. and I just got the spark plugs, valve cover gaskets, and pcv valve that I ordered on Monday. sigh ( Read more... ) -

For the record, truck has reverse, first, and second gears. No power steering. Driving down was a real workout - driving the Q is a noticeable pleasure.
Got the stuff sorted out that I brought down, truck is now ready to store. Unfortunately, DMV is closed today so I can't get new move permit until next week.

Spent a couple hours at DMV today, but walked out with a one trip permit. It's blank, so I can drive the truck anywhere, on any date. Which is great because I haven't gotten time off work yet.
Anyone willing to let me crash and possibly pick me up from airport or bart? I'm thinking of flying up on 2/5 after work, if I can get 2/6 off.
