Regarding to the chalk drawing debate..

I don't have a definitive answer inregards to that specific drawing, I didn't get a chance to get back to that one, and it was gone last time I was there..

but this afternoon, there was another chalk drawing..

Hey I brought a camera along the other day I went to sushi but I felt too weird taking it out to take photos.. so I didn't :P Maybe if we get a table (instead of sitting on the stools at the 'bar') then I'll take photos..

:) main point in contention was that it was faked but if they are drawn from scratch & freehand then they can't be as I more or less maintained.. (& the falafelrama about being on the pavement or not was totally a side non issue imho)doing it on plastic is a good idea for 2 reasons, 1) if you go to all that trouble and it looks good you'd want to keep it 2) they may not have a buskers licence to do it on the concrete etc and if on plastic they can avoid having to pay for that etc & the hassels if they get asked to move on.
