Um, we're doing a footy tipping thing at work, entrance fee will go to charity and there will be little prizes along the way and a big prize

but from what I understand, a bunch of teams play against each other, and you have to guess who is going to win.. and each round there are less and less teams.. and whoever guesses correctly throughout the comp wins..
I reckon go through them as if they were the real players.
Broncos (wild horses) versus Cowboys? I think the Cowboys would be taming and rodeo-riding the horses.
Storm vs West Tigers: Tigers live outside and I can't see them being afraid of a storm.
Warriors vs Eels: A hard pick. Eels are very difficult to catch and rather slimy, but warriors are supposed to be tough. Maybe a draw.
Sharks vs Panthers: Hmmm. If the weather is wet, the shark would eat the panther. But if the weather is dry, the panther outruns the shark.
Sea Eagles Vs Raiders: I'm assuming Viking Raiders, but I have this image of the longboat, stranded at sea during a calm period, and the sea eagle wheeling above it.
Knights vs Bulldogs: No dog's teeth are tougher than armour.
Titans vs Dragons! A match of the Ancient Creatures! The giant strikes, but a jet of fire burns across his arm and sends him whimpering back to Chronos.
Roosters vs Rabbitohs: You know how much I think the rabbits are in charge...
I have never watched an NRL game, but I have always disliked the team the Rabbitohs, purely because their name sounds like a fucking cereal not a football team. So my tipping advice is bet on the Roosters, because chickens eat cereal.
Well, I know far less about footy tipping than you do.
For me "footy" would be the adjective form of "foot." As in: "Those toes sticking out of your shoulders really make you look footy."
So "footy tipping," I would guess means you look SO MUCH like a foot that people give you money?
As for your posted equations, here are my guesses:
Broncos v Cowboys = Cowboys Storm v Wests Tigers = Storm Warriors v Eels = Eels Sharks v Panthers = cancelled due to tornado Sea Eagles v Raiders = Raiders Knights v Bulldogs = Sharks (in a surprise upset) Titans v Dragons = Argentina Roosters v Rabbitohs = what's a Rabbitoh?
