Not sure of the name of the bay... but the suburb is Bayview & it looks out onto Pittwater on Sydney's northern beaches. Pittwater is basically the delta of the Hawkesbury River. The last 3 photos were taken from West Head, from the top of which you can look out over Pittwater, up the coast to Gosford & the headlands of the Central Coast, or across the bay - over Lion Island to Brisbane Water (not in QLD!!).

There... aren't you glad you asked??!!

Note to self: Post photos of the above described views.

I like 2nd from the top and 2nd from the bottom. If the 2nd from the bottom one is the photoshopped one, personally I would have 'shopped it differently, but that's just my opinion :)

I prefer your shot of the creeping vine on the tree to mine!!

Like the sky in the second shot too...

mine vine had a fair bit of editing.. I think yours is better..

you haven't posted your shot of the vine..
maybe we should have a poll.. :P

you know the funny thing about the second shot? I didn't even notice the sky until I was editing that pic.. heh.. good thing I included it..

2nd shot fantastic! but I like the first also, the yellow buoy and the yellow boat, and the way the water is puddling on the sand moves your eye around the photo and back...it's cool. Those red dots on the poles are making my eyes zing!!!
Seems like between the two of you (waitingman's pics) you covered a lot of ground!!!!! What a great day. Must have been a good day for a lot of people..Newcastle was fun too. ;)
