This morning i went to the gym like usual . . . and noticed somethign kinda funny on the one tv monitor. It was regis and kelly, which I don't like, but they were at Niagara Falls. Despite the fact that it is supposed to be summer, the last week has been surprisingly busy. I've got my normal studt data/childcare in the clinic obligations, and have picked up several new things. So my power outage day ended up being awesome. I did so many things around this town that I haven't been able to do in soooooo long. I started off by finishing the novel I started reading at CHRISTMAS but hadn't had time or energy to finish (son of a witch by gregory mcguire - highly recommended if anyone's interested). woah!!! I've lived here 8 months, and i just now realized that we get the disney channel lol. Apparently my auto channel didn't program it in, but i randomly stumbled across it while looking for AMC lol. This is very exciting. :)
In other news, the unniversity is shutting off my power tomorrow . . which kinda sucks. -

i got my first case assignment!!!!!!!! I'm covering for Jill when she's on her honeymoon/getting married, for for four weeks i'll have my first client!!!!!
I alos got my nice new computer set up. It's gorgeous and wonderful and makes me very happy. :) -

ah - the time of hell is over and i have officially survived my first year as a grad student. THe last week has pure hell. I spent this last weekend writing 50 pages (single spaced) for measurement class, and the days prior battling impossible exams. For psychopathology, we had to memorize all the major disorders in the DSM, which is a 1000 page ( Read more... ) -

So . .. . i have 7 papers to wirte in less than two weeks (one of which is over 20 pages), and one presentation to throw together . . . this is going to be fun. I foresee lots and lots of caffeine in my future . .. . there's this one place near campus that puts four shots of expresso in the large drinks . . the may make lots of money off me very ( Read more... )
