I got your message, I tried to reply to you but I guess you don't accept messages from other people? In any case, this is what I tried to say:

Hey listen. I checked out your page, you have no entries, no userpics, no friends, no activity on LJ at all. So pretty much you could be anybody. I've never seen your username before and you've never commented my page. I'm pretty paranoid about who gets to see my stuff, which is why I changed to friends only to begin with, so I don't really feel comfortable with letting somebody I don't know and have never spoken to see my personal, private stuff. I'm really sorry, and I'm not trying to be mean or bitchy to you, or offend you or anything, I just don't feel comfortable. Maybe if you got more involved in some comms, posted some public entries I might change my mind.

All of my writings are in my comm halfwayupthesky, fully open to the public. This is just my personal blog.

If you're looking to post your own, there are several communities around that have open posting, such as wrestling_slash, violentpretties and slash_inthering. You might have to join them first but membership is open. =]

You're welcome =] It's pretty easy, just make sure you use a cut when you post to the comms. People can get grumpy at you if you don't.
