I know a few people on my flist run, or used to run. So: question. A few weeks ago I decided to start jogging on the treadmill - doing the jog for a few minutes, walk for a few minutes thing. However! I just went to the grown-up running store and got new shoes--hand-picked for me by someone who watched me walk and run, to see what my feet were doing--and they are pretty amazing. My knees don't hurt! So I recommend finding a good running store when you can afford it.
