Mary Robinette Kowal is this usually dignified and fairly lady-like woman who writes Austenian historical fantasy and if usually seen at events in Regency period dresses… and then she says things like this. Or asks Seanan McGuire if the Cait Sidhe love interest in her books has a spiked penis. Or posts recordings of herself reading Jane Austen in a phone sex voice.
And you'd think I'd have stopped being surprised by now.
