Awwwww thank you!!!! Their love is the most important thing, no matter how much I make both the boys suffer. :D

I think I know what bits you're talking about. Heh! Glad you enjoyed the twists I added. Part of my inspiration comes from Matthew Reilly - Australian author, don't know if you have heard of him or read his books. I've been thinking of doing some sort of crossover/AU with them for a while now; John and Sherlock would fit into his universe so well. =p

Thanks for reading!!!

This is stunning, but I don't think I was built to withstand such emotional torment! My heart is broken.

Oh gosh I don't think anyone could stand such torment. You know, it took me AGES to write this because I had a brain freeze when I got to the torture/killing John bits, and had to lay it off for two months.

Anyway, here's so cookies and icecream to mend your broken heart. I'm spiffed you liked it though! :D

My god, that was so, so beautiful. The humour, the suspense, and the heart wrenching mystery behind John's choice (I suppose the obvious choice would have been 'it's Sherlock or you, you decide'), the twist with John's father... but most of all, the bittersweet LOVE that overwhelms everything else. Oh man, I'm descending into cheesiness and cliches. And though you can't hear it, my heart is breaking into tiny little pieces. *sob sob sob* Brava my dear, brava. Very nicely done indeed. Also, *points to icon*

P.S. My brain is obviously reduced to mush. I had to delete this comment twice before getting it right. See what the brilliance of your fic does to me?

Your thrice edited comment really made my day you know? I'm stupefied, stunned that my writing has roused such emotion in you and your love for it really thrills me. :) and sometimes cheesiness and cliche is good and suitable. :) I shall be a hypocrite if I condem that.

I was crying by the end of it, damnit. The torture they both had to endure! And Sherlock not knowing if John's father was right...my heart was wrenching, too. Beautiful work.
