M&C Advent Calendar - Picspam and Profile Codes

For this year's advent calendar over at perfect_duet, I have decided to do two things. First, as per popular request of my flist, I have done a picspam. The subject of my picspam is a study of just some of the reasons why I love the movie so much

Oh the picspam is wonderful. I will have to return again and again to take it all in. You have chosen wonderful sequences where you took the photos from...and I like that you included the miniature portrait on Jack's letter in the Attention to detail. It always makes me snigger that it must be a portrait of Diana on a letter to Sophie. ;D

Awwww thank you! I got a bit lazy with some of the screencaps though - you would notice a distinct lack of battle sequences because I kept on getting really blurry screenshots.

Oh, but there are the loveliest shots of dear Surprise. I cannot really ask for more. :D

Not I, dear, Peter Weir. O'Brian describes Sophie as blonde. Diana's the dark one. ;D

Oh, the cinematography one! I probably shouldn't, but I find it more moving than the emotions one. But they are all wonderful, and I love how every one has its own colours.

And the shot of Stephen with the Galapagos lizard is just perfect.

The cinematography of the film really made sit up and gasp when I first saw it! Didn't it win the Oscar for it too, if my memory serves me correctly?

Awwww thank you!!! When I was doing the screencaps I initially didn't have time to rewatch the entire movie, but I got so caught up in it I just had to make time to do so! The only bit I skipped was when young Warley went overboard - that scene really rips my heart out. =(
