Worldcon -Why you should go.
I'll be honest here, I haven't really been following Puppygate. Puppygate is not the fault of the people who are working their asses off to put on Worldcon this year. While at Norwescon I attended a panel called "Escher Girls and the Hawkeye Initiative" "Escher Girls" are the (mostly) comic book women drawn to show boobs & butt at the same time, or other equally ridiculous overly sexualized representation of my gender. Timing Belt Update
So the car is running pretty well, except today there was a LOT of belt squeal, so I had a look and the alternator belt had worked its way loose. I tightened it, no big deal, though if it does it again I need to get under the car and make sure the mounting bolt is OK. Went to check the other belts ( Read more... ) -

We've all got different ideas when we hear the word "feminism". For me, it's about equality. Friends don't let friends use Network Solutions. They are absolutely diabolical.
Go through another registrar such as hostek.com, nearlyfreespeech.net, or, even, yes *sigh*, GoDaddy <- Though I do NOT GoDaddy them due to some underhanded shit they've been known to pull, but they're still leagues better than NS ( Read more... ) -

So the e-book has been out since January, but the paperback went live today. It's a fantasy adventure/erotica novella. I won't say "romance" because I'm not entirely clear on what that even is. Where I changed the timing belt on my 2002 Accent
I don't think I would have even considered taking this on if Amber, an O'Reilly employee, hadn't told me she did it herself with the same car, the guy at Wagley Creek Automotive hadn't basically freaked out about the fact it was probably 50k past when it should be changed, and then told me it would cost $800.
