Personally, I agree with Amazon's position that TTS is perfectly legal, infringes no copyrights, and poses no threat to the sales of audiobooks to those who are otherwise inclined to buy them. Went to see Equus with Mom & Bro this afternoon - Play was good overall; surprise bonus was one of the central roles was played by Star Trek Alumna Kate Mulgrew, who did a better job than my mother would give her credit for. I have decided the lesson I'm going to strive to learn, live, and love - starting now - is "one thing at a time". I may be able to have several things going on at once, and theoretically complete tasks to a satisfactory degree, but I enjoy things more and retain information better if I put my full attention on one diversion rather than multitask.
