Well I am off to Chicago tomorrow morning! I am signing my lease on the way down, dropping off an application to Anne my favorito roommate and best friend from Luther to live with me, and no doubt being very lonely! But I am excited that Anne is going to live with me again

i hate having to leave a message like this in your journal, but i simply can't contain my excitement any longer. once upon a time the two of us met, a few times actually, but i doubt that you are going to remember little me without some serious head-scratching. i'm a long lost luther dancer who disappeared after our sophomore year, which means that you and i just missed performing together [i danced in all of the shows until fall 02's ave:birds]. i stumbled upon your lj a while ago.... evidently we know a few of the same people from the lacrosse area and i didn't realize who you were until you mentioned anne one day. she was my dearest friend before i left school and i have always regretted letting myself get so caught up in running away that i never left her a forwarding address. if you would be so kind, could you tell her hello for me?! i'm the girl who lived with gerth, that's all she'll need to know to figure out my identity [and in turn be able to point out to you which restless ball of energy was me]. i'd be in debt to you

I can't say that I do remember you off hand, but I also didn't really delve into the dance half of the department until Ave. I would be delighted to tell Anne that an old dance friend would like to get ahold of her. I'm sure that if I saw your picture in our year book I would remember. Anyways I will let Anne know that you say hello and I would point her towards your live journal! Anne does not have one, unfortunately, but she does read them occasionally! Hmmm who do you know from Lacrosse, Mills? Anyways I grew up in around Winona and all of my closest friends are in Winona/LaCrosse! The world is very small sometimes.

and i did stumble upon you through mr. mills, although i'm fairly certain he has no idea i have been lurking around from behind one of these big boxes keeping an eye on him. my face has always been pretty scarce when it comes to social things [for one reason or another] but i've always enjoyed his company when i've had the pleasure of spending time with him. enough about him - let's talk about you! congrats on the teaching job [i was at luther for education, as well] i hope they don't run you ragged!

Yes, indeed Mills is always an enjoyable person to converse with. The teaching is going to run me ragged but I'm excited anyways!
