What Do You Do With a B.A. in English?

So, aside from all the trading cards and RPing nonsense I've been up to, sometimes I do think about my future.

I got an e-mail from a company that found me on Monster.com, for a company that exclusively placed bilingual Japanese-English speakers with companies in the U.S. and Japan. I saved the site and I haven't registered with them yet, but unlike the last one, it looks legit. I'm just wondering if it's the right thing to do.

I never have the experience needed, and I don't trust in my skills enough. I don't know if I know enough Japanese to be a competant translator, and I don't have another specialty like business or medicine. I suppose the best thing to do is hit the books and work on my kanji and vocab.

The other issue is that they only have offices and job positions in major cities. The closest places they have to Ohio are Chicago and NYC. I don't know if I'm ready to live in that kind of place, especially when I don't have family there with me. I'd prefer to stay in Columbus, but there isn't really anything listed there.

I feel like I should give it a shot anyway, since their listed positions paid fairly well (maybe not for a big city, but I can always commute from a suburban area), and it's something Japanese. They also have positions in Tokyo, and who knows, maybe someday I'd be brave enough for that.

Thoughts?
