I'm gay, and i know one other person who is the same (not very well). However, truly gay people are never going to be mentioned in HP. I agree with this. This is not because I think its unlikely that there will be gay people, hell, there's rooms full of boys spending the night in the same room (experimentation anyone? XD). However, the main reason there will be no gay references in canon is simply because any gay characters will not spread it around. Me for example, i'm still 'in the closet', so to speak (on the internet is diferent, here I am free to be what I want, who I want

Oh, a gay Harry Potter. Somehow, I think the book sales will either slowly decline or sell out faster. The Pope will probably have a say in that. Whether or not JK Rowling feels strongly about homosexuals/homosexual rights, she should consider doing it for the publicity and the rise she'll get with anti-homosexual Catholic republicans. You're right, though. If I won't write about pro-Nazi values (whether informative or persuasive), then I don't expect her to write about gay marriage (also whether informative or persuasive). Maybe that was too harsh a comparision. Whatever the reason, I don't think it tha prezident wood lyke it muooche. Sorry. That was a bit mean.
