Thanks! Actually, seen up close they aren't that even... One thing I haven't figured out how to fix is that the first and last signature are not aligned with the others on the spine and they stick out a bit on the opposite side. P.S. I'm sorry I disappeared completely for the whole of August...
They are all really neat. I especially like the Monet books, as he happens to be one of my all time favourite artists. These pictures really make me want to try bookmaking myself, too.
I would love one. If you'd like, I could make you a piece of artwork in return. A painting or a drawing or something. If you have any requests on the subject, that'd be nice, too. :)
A drawing would be lovely! I like your style very much; any subject is fine for me :) I'm afraid I don't have much time to make books right now- it's going to be a busy couple of weeks. But it will get done eventually, I promise! Here is a microscopic picture of my calendar (I have two copies of it, so all images are still available) in case you want to choose the cover: http://www.jnfprod.com/boutique/images/grand/dos096CL431.jpg I still have the red Monet book, too, but I left it in my hometown.
I can't believe how gorgeous these are... you are so talented! I found you through the sampler pages and added you, I hope that you don't mind! I am just overwelmed by your skill. Do you ever sell these at all??
Thanks! I do not sell the stuff I make because it's my little stress reliever and I do not want it to become another source of stress, to see it as work. I might do a trade though, but right now I've given all the books away as presents... maybe some other time!
