I saw my first real Bento two weeks ago and have been in love ever since. This weekend when we go to Boston I'm going to ChinaTown to look for a Bento Box. I WANT THE CUTENESS!!

but not the cutesy ones. i want like a serious utilitarian metal or wooden one, with various compartments, etc.

True, the cute ones are too small for a real lunch. I like the idea of something home-made with love, and neatly organized into compartments. Mmm...

there's a korean restaurant about a block away from where i live called "mama's kitchen" and they serve lunches that look like that, haha. my favorite was the one that looked like a panda. :)

Thank you.. I feel increasingly bad about my posts on jr__nal because a few people added me and I'm in a phase in which I don't add anyone back! Sorry! I know it's very rude of me, but I simply don't have enough time to keep up with everyone's life... Anyway, my paper journal entries will always be public...
