We know the firemen tried their best Cedric - sadly these things happen sometimes. But its the 2nd fire in less than a year.

Too much of a co-incidence to be an accident.

I (and Mum) live in a village outside Canterbury, which at the moment has its own little Fire Station, which they expect to close next year.
I know these things are expensive, and all the 2-foots want to keep their Council Tax bills down, but it makes you think what difference a few minutes might make. Poor buns.
Love Friska.
(Oh, and poor part-time firemen who'll probably lose their jobs, too)

Get in touch with your local fire brigade union - they will no doubt be opposing the closures. Thats what mum did and now she has loads of fireman friends, Mums not bothered as her dad and brother were in the fire service and she nearly married one too. -but all the women at work are so jealous. It has something to do with the uniforms and sliding down poles apparently! I dont really bundestand it!
