But the perception in Amorette's story is amazing. I absolutely love the way she transforms the whole sensory information with a simple act of becoming a hedgehog. This one lay forgotten very very deep in my memories. I remembered it actually when we were speaking about a book by Stephen King, where he described a smell as a dog perceives it - almost like a color. I liked that and I loved this fic. It really made me want to be an animagus - to be able to escape to animal form when I feel the world is overwhelmimg me in the negative sense, or just to be able to feel things I cannot feel as a human.
