Original Story -- yet unnamed -- Profiles of the characters
This is an original story whose characters I've been carrying with me since jr.high and at one point it was called the Gemstone Warriors saga. Recently, though, I've scrapped that whole teenagers banding together against a big evil idea, and I'm now trying to revamp it. It's going to be quite a process since I'm trying to create an original plot. But here are the profiles of the nine characters. This is mostly for firemasterskye's reference, but hey, check it out if you wanna!
PHOENIX LAVENDER
Gender: Male

Hair: Pale blond
Eye colour: Light purple
Height: 5'7"
Clothing style: Punk/Goth, but not to any extreme.
Bio: Phoenix is a very quiet, introverted young man that isn't too capable of socializing with other people. His chosen method of expressing himself is by sketches in a tattered notebook and writing lyrics. Self-taught to read, write and carry himself, Phoenix is insightful and very much longs for someone to open up to and feel safe with. He is completely unaware of the destiny that was left to him by his late mother.
SASHA (SIMRAN) KHAN
Gender: Female
Age: 21
Birthday: September 29th
Hair: Black, layered with a patch of bright pink on the right side. (Think Avril Lavigne's current style)
Eye Colour: Hazel
Height: 5'4"
Clothing Style: Sophisticated with a punk/rock edge.
Bio: Sasha is the younger of the Khan twins, but is undoubtedly the more responsible of the two, running the household while their mother is at work. Outwardly, Sasha is somewhat sarcastic and strict, not really having any kind of tolerance for peoples' tomfoolery. However, she cares very deeply for those close to her and has no problem standing up and saying what needs to be said.
RICK (RAJ) KHAN

Hair: Black, cut short but has face-framing bangs that are styled with gel

Clothing Style: Sport casual most of the time, though he also has a vaguely preppy wardrobe to change things up.
Bio: Older than Sasha by 6 minutes, Rick is extremely outgoing and friendly, making friends as easily as he breathes. He gives the outward appearance of being laid-back, but when push comes to shove, Rick is dependable and very serious. He's still working through the emotional scars left from his on/off relationship with Skye that ended in "off", but he's a forgiving soul, remaining friends with her, believing she can redeem herself.
SAPNA KHAN

Occupation: Doctor

Hair Colour/Eye Colour: Black/Hazel
Bio: Known to her kids' friends as "Ms.K" Or "Doc K", Sapna is a small woman with a petite frame, but demands respect. She and the twins' father divorced when Sasha and Rick were 5, and moved them to their current residence shortly afterwards. Sapna works extremely hard to provide for her children and rules her house with an iron fist; though she's equally compassionate, as seen with her accepting Skye into her home after the young girl had been on the streets for some time. When not in the hospital, Sapna dresses very sharp, and in modern fashions with an Indian flair.
LEO HILCREST

Hair Colour: Dirty blond

Clothing Style: Extremely trendsetting and stylish, though with his girlfriend's influence, is loosening up.
Bio: Leo is the only child of the wealthy Hilcrest family and is very mature due to his classical upbringing and is rather cultured for his age due to various trips around the world. His parents are rarely at home since he's started high school, and Leo has taken to hanging out more and more with Sasha and their mutual friends. He met Sasha when they were only six years old, and she came up to him to play in the park (somehow getting past his bodyguards) and they quickly became friends. They know each other inside and out and were even each other's first. He brings level-headedness to the group, and keeps Reime grounded.
ALEC THATCHER

Hair colour: Blond

CLothing Style: Alec favours t-shirts and khakis, though during the winter months his style resembles Rick's in a "preppy" sports style.
Bio: Alec moved to Canada when he was 10, and is just as personable as Rick, becoming fast friends with said boy when they were in the same class in jr.high. Rick and Sasha even helped Alec perfect his English, and Alec is one of the few that can curb Ruby's infamous temper and ambition, but he is an all-around smartass that does quit the joking when the time calls for it.
RUBY MORGAN

Hair colour: dyed pale blond with red streaks

Clothing Style: A mix of tomboy-flair and girly in style fashion as she grows older.
Bio: Ruby fancies herself the leader of the group, taking charge when needed and even when it doesn't. Headstrong and blunt-speaking, Ruby has a hard time admitting when she's wrong or even overbearing. She does care deeply for her friends, and will doggedly go after those who have hurt them.
REIME MASTERSON

Clothing Style: Fun, happy and bright, and a very versatile style that's something like "summer camp style" but more grown up.
Bio: Reime's upbeat, and impressively positive outlook in life is a direct contrast to the dark reality of her homelife. Her dad left when she was very young and her mother lost the kindness and warmth she once had. Since then, Reime vowed never to be like that and keeps everyone's mindset positive when things get rough.
SKYE HATHEWAY
Gender: Female
Age: 22
Hair/Eye Colour: Blond/Blue
Height: 5'6"
Birthday: November 3rd
Clothing style: At first, Skye dressed rather trashy, but now Sasha's influence has sunk in and she's dressing still rather hot, but more sophisticated.

But the emotional and physical scars remained; due to this rough life and slap to the face life dealt her, Skye believed that she could manipulate, use and discard people without caring, but her on/off relationship with Rick changed that. At first it didn't, but after Sasha, Sapna and a slap to the face jerked things into perspective after she hurt him for the last time. Skye has warmed considerably since then, but she is still rather rough around the edges, though she is very, very glad that Rick is even still her friend.
