Oh, bb. This is just so beautiful. It's so sad to see Charlie like this, so sad to see Miles letting her go, but lovely too that he respects her enough to let her try and find her way in the world. I love how you filled in the blank spaces of what we saw on the show, and how perfectly you captured the relationship between Miles and Charlie. So much love there, it makes me ache in all the best ways. I had tears in my eyes while I was reading it, and I have tears in my eyes now just thinking about it. I wish they'd given us a lot more moments like this in season 2, because for me they were the heart of the show

My holidays were nonexistent. Things are still pretty bad for me, but what else can I do besides plod on and hope for the best. I'm sorry I worried you, but at the same time, thank you for worrying. Knowing that someone cares makes things a bit more bearable.

My story is incest-y, and I know that's not your cup of tea. Though really, as I pointed out in my warnings at the comm it's pretty tame, so maybe you'd be able to read it? I'd love to hear your feedback, of course, but if you can't stomach it I'll understand.

Your story really is perfection and I know I'm going to read it over and over again. Just the writing itself is so beautiful. I'm so happy that you got to write for me this year. <3

I did worry, but I'm glad you're surviving, darlin. My holidays were okay - working retail pretty much sucks the joy out of a lot of stuff, and my mom's been sick and I'm dealing with the "women's change" right now, so everything sucks. But plod on we will. Sigh. *laughs* *hugs*

It's not my cup of tea, but I am willing to give it a chance, since it's yours. I love your characterizations for them so much - really excellent voices. It makes me feel good to "hear" both Miles and Charlie again. :)
