That makes me so happy to hear. There is life after TV! I'm currently defeated. They've all gone, and now there's nothing to watch. However, a friend turned me on to The Hounds of the Morrigan, by Pat O'Shea. It's amazing, and I highly recommend it if you haven't read it.

I'd also recommend Patricia Keneally's Copper Crown series. (Celts in space!) And Guy Gavriel Kay's Fionnavar series. Though both of those have been out so long you've probably read them already.

After the carnage of the last few days I'm feeling a little despondent towards TV at the moment, but I'm hoping that something will catch my eye. Thank you for the reconmendation, I'll look out for it.

I've read the Song of Achilies :) I've been trying the audio books of some books too after reading too many digital books and tiring out my eyes. It is quite a bit slower though.

The Song of Achilies was amazing and I'm so happy I've finally managed to read it. I know what you mean what about some Audio books, some of them are slow going, if that happens I speed up the narration a little and that can help.
