I'm not a big fan of Sum-Mer, either. Thankfully, my peoples bought a couple of Air Conditioners. They are loud, and the block the windows they are in, but they make the hot months tolerable for those of us clad in fur.
You might try lying in the bathtub. I find it quite cool in there, surrounded by all that porcelain. And, sometimes, there are little puddles handy to drink from.

I would lie in the bathtub if we had one, but we only have the Human Cleaning Box thing that the water falls into.
But thank you, your idea is a good one in theory, Mr. Tubbs - I have gotten similar results by sitting in the shiny kitchen sink, which is also good because then I have instant drinking access to the Faw-set. :)

Our kitchen sink is always too fall of stuff for anyone to sit in it. I would like to sit there, though, if it weren't. That way, I could keep an eye on all of the fishes that the mister peoples prepares and get to them before anyone else had a chance!
