Mystery visitor!!!!

My Human went out onto the deck to adjust a flowerpot. Next thing I know, I can hear her talking to someone, but I do not smell anything yet and I am very comfortably half-asleep, so I just stay where I am. I hear my Human moving around. Then I hear something else moving around. Of course I must investigate!!! I begin my descent from the chair

oo... I hate those things... I may be only human but in my past life I was a wolf... so I know whut those nasty things are like... dun let them in the house... they eat everything >.<

and yes... they do smell real bad! -- taste bad too.

I've seen those things too!!! They never get that close to my house though. They are certainly weird-looking creatures, aren't they? They look like they are trying to be a kitty, but they're too big and goofy.

Oooo. Be careful! Our cat-mom told us about those things and said they can be VERY dangerous even to large dogs! You are right...it is YOUR property and YOUR human, so tell him off and show no fear, but don't try to get him to fight because they can be VICIOUS!

Not all the time. The ones that live by us are gentle. Brother Abyss sits on the back porch with them in the same yard. No fights, no problems. Brother knows about them and respects their space. And Mama coondie-- what the humans call her-- is nice.
They are only vicious if they have diseases.
