I got an interesting phone call from my mom this morning. Apparently my nephew Jagger was chosen to be in a children's theater presentation of 'The King And I' this spring. Not a major part, but he'll be singing chorus and has a role as one of the royal guards. Either way, I'm proud of him as he's loved doing plays and singing in chorus through ( Read more... )

So... yeah... I pulled another first out of the hat this last weekend. I made last minute arrangements (including a flight) and got myself down to FC after all this last weekend. Co-worker offered to cover the on-call time, got the flight put together, rides to and from respective airports, spot to crash in San Jose, and voila, there I was! Well ( Read more... )

I was running errands yesterday morning and needed to hop into Rite Aid for a couple things. Well, as I'm checking out I glance over at the standard Weekly World News magazine holders and spot the pamphlet below. I saw the movie "Milk" with thesmileetiger yesterday afternoon/evening after work. It was a really good movie and even made me tear up a few times. I recommend it to general movie audiences. SO! If your local art-house theater is carrying it, go see it ( Read more... )

Looks like the weather this weekend here is about to be downright naaaaaaaaaaaaasty. They're thinking snow + high wind storm + cooooooold. I discovered today that if you have a GMail account and have a pic setup on it.... I get it as your user icon in my phone XD Well, so long as you have a gmail account and I know what it is to attach to a phone number.

Gotta love a con that takes you more than 24 hours to recover. I ended up staying till late Sunday afternoon, and really wish I could have stayed longer.
