Glad you liked! Starfire just doesn't understand why no one else seems to like her mustard beverages. She finds them delicious! And this one was even festive!

Yep yep! The town that is slightly festive even when it is six months away from the holiday that everyone knows it for! Poor Starfire was not aided by the analogy though. What is this "Mardi Gras" you speak of?

Poor Starfire, this must be such a difficult holiday for an alien to understand. She was so adorable! And Robin was right, Gotham is so the Halloween City. This was so cute, excellent story.

Yep, Halloween would be a difficult holiday to explain. There's the various origins that got cobbled together, the children's celebration aspects, the harvest festival aspects, the party hardy adult aspects, and probably more that I'm not even thinking of. It is a very mixed-up holiday. And Gotham would so rock Halloween. Have you seen the cast of villains, or the architecture? I rest my case. Thanks for reading, I'm so glad you liked it!

I love Star trying to sort out all the bits and pieces that make up Halloween, then finding her own way to celebrate. It's fun seeing our own customs through alien eyes. Delightful story! But I think I'll pass on the beverage. LOL! Thanks for sharing.

Aww, you don't want mustard-pumpkin-candycorn shake either? Poor Starfire does not understand how anyone could pass up such a delicious and festive beverage! (On the other hand, she completely understands passing up the pudding of sadness. Everyone passes on the pudding of sadness unless the pudding of sadness is desperately needed.)
