I believe I'm leaving New Mexico in two (2) years. During my time remaining here I will seek to accomplish the following:

- Get freelance career healthy. Transition away from production into strictly providing digital files.
- Determine the future of Destructible Heart Press.
- Ensure An Underground Guide to ABQ will run without me ( Read more... )

i wish I could figure out what i'm doing with my life for even the next 3 months.

just remember to allow for some flexibility. if you're too focused on one goal, you may miss out on something wonderful.

I know, and it worries me, too.

But these're long-held dreams. I have a lot of room in there for stuff to happen, still, but.... If & when wonderful things come up, they've gotta obey the same rules of timing as everything else, and I'll have to make choices in the same way I'm making them now. Albuquerque's pull on me is no less strong than it was a week ago, but I feel its support, too. I've put a lot of energy the last 3 years into living a domestic life, which made me happy, but not fulfilled. And I know that I need to do these things, preferably before I die. I figure it'll work out as it's meant to work out.

I'm not too strict about the timing of everything -- just a few scenarios I want to avoid, like spending a full winter in Boston. That type'a stuff. :)

on the no winters in boston thing. :) I'm getting used to no coats, although last night two austinites threatened me with their annual winter. :P
