One of my favorite things to do in Phnom Penh is to ride on the back of a moto. For some reason, it makes me feel like anything is possible. The city just feels more comfortable at a higher speed…cooler, with fewer Cambodians staring at me as I pass, and I get to laugh at the ridiculous flow of traffic. Glad to know you are enjoying yourself. Interesting about the driving. Yes, wear a helmet. Yes, French will be helpful. Keep dry. Yes, I do not like humidity. Sounds like you are having an adventure and having a good learning experience

I haven't studied French for about 3 years now, but I'm still surprised at how much vocabulary I remember (French grammar was never my strong point, especially because of their pronouns). The conjugation is very similar to Spanish, so that won't be difficult - the trickiest part will be not mixing up Spanish and French words and sounds. Once, my Spanish teacher told me I spoke perfect Spanish in a basic conversation - but with a French accent. ;)
