I haaaate job hunting. :( :( :( So depressing and stressful. Even entry-level jobs want several years of experience and jeez, this economy really sucks for recent grads. Thinking of looking into temping agencies in NYC ( Read more... )

hang on with the job hunting thing :/ I hate that entry-levels nowadays require so much work experience too! If I had that much experience I'd be in a higher position! Lol. I think it really stresses the importance of internships..which I wish I'd known in college. It takes awhile, from my own personal experience lol. And I had to apply to like 5 a day at least. I think as long as you budget well, you'll be okay with the entry-level jobs. Unfortunately we're not left with much choice :/

The economy has turned a lot of experienced people back into the job market--companies want that experience without giving them the pay they might get in a normal economy.

Sucks for everyone looking for work right now. :(

Yeah, that's why I feel like nowadays it's hard to find even an entry-level without having been a *cough*slave*cough* intern. The job I have now I believe required at least two years experience.

But yeah.. someone I work barely earns more than me.. and she has her master's. It's not a fair economy right now :/
