Heh, maybe the receptionist was embarrassed because she forgot you. I tend to look moronic too when I'm embarrassed about something, lol. XD
Did the doctor have any idea why it didn't quite heal like it should? I hope poor Sanzo will get better soon, this bandage thing doesn't look very comfortable. :/
I bet she was pretty embarrassed. Well, the doctor gave me some pretty strong antibiotics and told me if it doesn't get better by thursday I gotta come for another check-up immediately.
Well, if he didn't scratch it it would get better, but I always punish him when he scratches it, but sometimes I catch him too late. Yesterday I took away the bandages for awhile and he scratched it so that it bled again -_-
Reminds me of one of my friends, Shani, who's a doctor at my hospital. She has 2 cats, Chip and Rizzo, and a dog, Doobie. When she gets in one of her moods, Rizzo attacks Chip for no reason. But Chip is Doobie's friend and he doesn't stand for that, so he goes after Rizzo for beating on Chip. And so she can have peace in her house, Shani has to bring Rizzo to work with her so the other children won't get beat on. It's like putting children in time-out or something.
Poor Sanzo, what a misadventure! Does he ususally go out by himself and risk such things (trying to act like a policeman) or did it happen when he was with you or your family? How is that they disn't tell you to make him wear the Elizabethan collar to avoid his scratching? (Not that I would have liked it..I hate it!)
I live in a flat, so he can't just go out by himself. We like to socialize with other dogs and dog owners so we go to a local dog park every day. Even though Sanzo doesn't play much anymore (I think he feels too grown up for that) he is content just being in the company of his dog friends, because when we go to the park at a different time and no one's there yet he's looking around in search of the doggies and when he finally spots someone he's so happy.
Oh and he can't have the collar as it would hurt his neck. The doctor said that if it was any other place he would get to wear it.
